TagIT specialises in designing, installing and commissioning on farm wireless networks (WiFi). Utilising an existing broadband connection to the property we often link the milking shed, manager’s residence and other cottages to a network. This creates an effective broadband network across the farm.
A wireless network allows a Wi-Fi enabled device such as a personal computer, video game console, smartphone or digital audio player to be connected to the Internet when within range of the wireless network. The coverage of one or more (interconnected) access points — called hotspots — generally comprises an area the size of a few rooms but may be expanded to cover many square miles, depending on the number of access points with overlapping coverage.
Each site is unique and there are numerous factors we need to allow for when designing a Wi-Fi network, so contact us for a quote.
