A Little About Us
Tag IT Technologies came to life in 2002. Originally focusing on rural security and CCTV systems the company quickly developed a solid reputation for doing fast and efficient work whilst providing awesome customer service. As technology developed further Tag IT starting working with on-farm WiFi systems and was a key technical partner in the development of LIC’s ProTrack automatic drafting gate. As ProTrack developed the Tag IT team traveled throughout New Zealand training regional installers how to install this complex technical product.
Seeing an opportunity to develop the use of on-farm data the HALO product began development in 2008. By 2009 we had our first live system up and running and we knew the product had great potential. Now with more than 130 systems live on farms throughout New Zealand we are helping farmers, both sole operators and multi-unit businesses, to run more efficient operations. Monitoring water meters, tank levels, milking systems and milk vats along with command and control of effluent systems and reporting from weather stations the HALO Farm System does it all.
